Edit: womp womp, the fan failed in a couple of months. Thought it was unplugged at first, but after checking the power was good I took a look at the unit. The center of the fan was HOT, which kinda counter-acted my kegerator attempts at cooling. And mind you, this happened between March-May, and I had it unplugged a good 14 days while I was traveling for business and didn't need it. I may replace the fan with another, longer lasting fan. In any case, can no longer recommend.ORIGINAL POSTLooking around, it would've cost darn near as much to source the hobby box, fan, tubing, power supply, plus my time to construct, etc. So why not purchase pre assembled? Can't hear it outside my diy kegerator, and my tower and taps are nice and cold to the touch. Does what it says on the tin, and at a diy price. My only gripe is the power cord is maybe 2 feet long, which isn't very long when trying to feed it off of your kegerator - that length will BARELY make it out of your fridge. The included power supply is rated 12v, 1amp. I had a power supply with the same size plug in to the fan box rated at 12v, 750Mamp that has a good 18 inch additional cord length on the included power supply, and it works like a charm. Figured it would - an entire laptop takes around an amp so a small fan should be fine!So in conclusion, keeps your tower/taps cold to help with foaming, inaudible with the door closed, comparable to diy cost (another popular product that is the same thing, but looks slightly nicer inside your kegerator that you hardly ever see is like 65 bucks?!), all at the expense of a pretty short power cable. 4.5/5 or 9/10, depending how you look at it.
